A deck is the original outdoor room.  A deck is a great  place to sit quietly and relax.  A deck is also a great place to barbeque and a have a party.  A deck is a solid, flat and level place to relax in the privacy of your own back yard.  We built our first deck in 1994.  Since then we’ve built and rebuilt, and rescued dozens of decks in the Chattanooga area.  We were the first deck builder to use Trex composite decking.    We had to special order it because no one knew what it was.  We have built decks of IPE, Redwood, Cedar, Oak and salvaged Heart Pine as well as Pressure-Treated Pine. We have built decks with embossed water-proof membranes over living spaces.  We have installed wood railings, steel cable railings, iron railings, aluminum railings, composite railing systems, metal and glass railings.   And we are keeping abreast of the  next wave of materials that are coming:  heat stabilized lumber, lumber impregnated with glass and borax.  New deck fastening systems.   The choices are incredible.  You don’t have to settle with a small square green wood deck.
